We are extremely pleased to been awarded our 2nd project for our client “Ognisko Polskie” to carry out full façade restoration following a successful re-roofing project in 2024 – Works commence on 27 Jan 2025.

Works include full scaffold and hoisting, surveys and hammer testing to all surfaces, removal of any loose non matching materials from previous repairs including some of the historic “roman cement” details and mouldings. New mouldings will be made in the background while new lime render is applied in suitable weather conditions, along with rainwater renewals and repairs, timber and joinery repairs, full redecoration with Keim paints, and the install of new data infrastructure to each floor. We have also been asked to look to fit some electric window operating gear to the ballroom area.

While works take place we have to consider the busy restaurant which will remain in operation along with the annual “Chopin competition for young pianists” where we will step down for a few days to enable the competition to take place.
