Our project included the complete repair and refurbishment to two impressive courtyards. We erected a full access scaffold around the courtyard’s perimeter walls to clean the brickwork, carry out pointing repairs with some helifix structural works to chimney, rainwater and soil drainage renewal and repairs, tiled roofing repairs and full re-decoration and repairs to the crittall windows.

All scaffolding was brought in via the main entrance through three sets of fully glazed doors, protection and management was paramount to ensure no damage occurred. Our Site Manager ensured the residents and visitors could access and egress safely.

No 1 Prince of Wales Road was originally built in 1929 as North London Polytechnic and Officially Opened by HRH Prince of Wales KG. The building was then later converted into Apartments in 1988. The general layout of the Building was designed with the object of securing for the vacuous labourites and classrooms the maximum possible amount of light, sunshine and air. The building encloses two large light wells and spacious corridors give access to various rooms.
