MCo Group Ltd were instructed to carry out summer holiday refurbishment works at a Grade I listed school in Sevenoaks.

Our works involved the strip out and full refurbishment of three classrooms in a historic Grade I listed school in Sevenoaks, including forming openings in existing stone walls and installation of bespoke curved doors and screens to match those originally installed, full decoration and making good, M&E rationalisations, engineered flooring, heating adaptations, ceiling installations, and boxing out all exposed pipework.

As this was a summer holiday project, the works were carefully designed and programmed to ensure that they were completed in time for a planned handover to the school, we accelerated the programme to hand over the classrooms to the school a week early to ensure that the teachers have a soft start on the new installation before the children return.

All works were carried out with the utmost care and attention, befitting this historic building’s Grade I listed status.
