MCo Group were engaged to provide enabling works and co-ordination for a new DDA level access lift providing safe access to the great hall.

The works included removal of a structural slab and associated local electrical and rainwater elements. A new reinforced slab was formed to support the new lift with associated work to historic Temple Hall railing and gates, monitored very closely to ensure compliance with the planning.

Following the enabling items we provided a setting our drawing for new York stone paving along with new matching Portland stone elements and subsequently procured suitable samples then stone which was fitted on site.

The glass and steel lift once installed had York stone elements laid within the platform and surrounding area and grouted using suitable mortar.
